Kings @ Jazz
Friday, December 15th, 2006
Kings 98 - Jazz 97
101st Straight Jazz Home Game w/ Preseason
95th Straigt Regular Season Jazz Home Game

ugh.. what a way to lose the game.. i had stupid kings fans right in the two seats behind me.. it wasn't so bad until the 4th quarter when they came back.. the guys didn't yell much, but the clapped the lights out and it was right behind my head.. oh well, stupid kings fans..

sloan was presented with the game ball from the Dallas game just before tipoff.. i think they should have done it at halftime instead, as the arena was probably less than half full at the time.. jerry looked like he wanted to get it done, everyone cheered him but the cheers weren't long before jerry was headed back to the bench again... larry probably cried, but i can't remember if he even talked so we couldn't really hear him.. way to go again, jerry.. time for the next 1000...

the fourth quarter was a bummer.. we had played well up until the fourth quarter when we just blew up.. i guess we had to lose sometime.. i am happy we won Dallas and me and jerry hit 100/1000 on the same night.. last time we lost at home was to Orlando.. we were down big at halftime so i ended up leaving at halftime.. this is really the first loss i've sat all the way through since April 4th, vs the spurs..

anyways.. what made tonight's game enjoyable was the Jazz Dancers in santa hats.. that just does it for me.. i love jazz dancers in santa hats.. they were smoking tonight and i am going to highlight only the good jazz dancer pics i got.. i got quite a few, enjoy those...

merry christmas.. see you on december 26th.. good luck on your road trip, jazz.. i am rooting for you.. enjoy the pics...

Mavericks @ Jazz
Monday, December 11th, 2006
Jazz 101 - Mavericks 99
100th Straight Jazz Home Game w/ Preseason
94th Straigt Regular Season Jazz Home Game

wow.. tonight's game was great and i don't even know where to start with it.. let's see..

two major milestones.. my 100th straight Jazz home game, and sloans 1000th nba coaching win.. first, me.. i haven't missed a Jazz home game since the end of the 2003-04 season.. the start of the streak was a preseason game vs the Knicks on October 19th, 2004.. we smashed the Knicks 113-89... they were being coached by Lenny Wilkins at the time, marbury only played 11 minutes and scored just two points.. we had players like Raul Lopez, Curtis Borhcardt.. man, i'd even take Collins over either of them... tonight, even the person who scans my ticket almost every game knew it was 100 and he congratulated me when i went in.. that was awesome.. anyways, back to the game..

the Jazz played well tonight and we outscored the Mavs in every quarter.. i was a little skeptical about us winning the game before today, i'll admit it.. the refs sucked for the first half, but things mellowed out at least a little and were better for us in the 2nd half..

i always love beating the Mavericks.. ever since that lame playoffs loss in 2001 after going up 2-0.. even though they're a different team, they'll always be the Mavericks and they're still owned by Mark Cuban with Dirk... congratulations Jerry for the 1000th win.. the arena started chanting his name with about a minute left. i was hoping he'd wave or something, but he couldn't have gotten off the court fast enough tonight once the game was over.. still, congratulations jerry.. you're doing us well..

so see you Friday night for the Kings game.. it will be my 101st straight, 95th if i don't count preseason.. that's quite a streak, i'm not sure of anyone else that's been there that long.. maybe i'll stop taking the camera.. anyone?

enjoy the pics...

Bucks @ Jazz
Monday, December 4th, 2006
Jazz 101 - Bucks
93nd Straigt Regular Season Jazz Home Game
99th Straight Jazz Home Game w/ Preseason

tonight's game was kinda boring.. the Jazz played well and were up most (if not all, i don't know) of the game.. our usher wasn't there tonight because his lame self had to go to LA for a business something-or-other.. loser..

i got a great tipoff shot.. the arena has flashes that go off when big things happen.. i wish my camera was hooked up to the delta center flash.. anyways.. i got a tipoff shot right as the flash was going off.. check it out in the top pics, it's pretty cool..

not much to report on i guess.. there was another wave going in the upper bowl in the second half.. it was pretty cool, it went around a few times.. i could see a guy on the other end of the arena in portal M or so that was coordinating all the people.. he'd stand up and yell, people would start the wave at his instruction.. i couldn't hear him, but i could tell that he was the ringleader..

go jazz.. i hope Sloan wins his 1000th when i'm there, but who knows.. oh well.. ahh, i love having a week off...

enjoy the pics...

Sonics @ Jazz
Saturday, December 2nd, 2006
Jazz 109 - Sonics 107
92nd Straigt Regular Season Jazz Home Game
98th Straight Jazz Home Game w/ Preseason

alright, before i get started.. three great pictures you have to check out.. (1) a great shot of ray allen taking a free and.. (2) ak with a block in the 3rd.. (3) memo shooting the game winner, he was open..

i got to the arena pretty late tonight.. only about 8 minutes to tipoff or so.. there was no giveaway and i had other stuff going on, so i didn't feel like sitting there for too long before the game..

tonight's game started off with the six year old playing the trumpet for the national anthem.. it was pretty sweet to see.. he was sweet at the trumpet and the arena gave him quite an ovation after it was over.. he even got a few fives from some of the jazz players, and that doesn't happen often, so it was cool to see...

halftime was some breakdancers from new orleans... they were pretty cool and did a nice job..

sonics kept up with us most of the game.. we went on that run in the 3rd and to start the 4th, then dropped out and gave up a 14 point lead to let the sonics take over and make it interesting.. luckily, the jazz played well and hit some big shots.. sonics went up by 1 point with about 8 seconds left.. sloan didn't call a timeout, the team ran the play and Memo saved the day bit taking and hitting a clutch three to give us the lead by two.. the arena went crazy.. ray allen had a chance with 1.5 seconds left, he took a way back three but missed the shot.. the arena went crazy, it was exciting..

the game was good..
