Nets @ Jazz
Monday, January 29th, 2007
Nets 116 - Jazz 115
104th Straight Regular Season Jazz Home Game
110th Straight Jazz Home Game w/ Preseason

if only deron had made that foul shot that he missed.. if only Vince had missed that three.. i don't know what to say about this loss tonight.. i'm speechless.. i think i've been to every Vice Carter game here in Utah since about 2001 when he came with the Raptors in November.. he made a career high (at the time) 8 three pointers, out of about 11 attempts i think.. he's had his good and bad times, but always puts it together when he has to..

good old Jerry Sloan was out tonight with the flu.. i guess phil johnson did an ok job, but we should have won this game.. i didn't see Booozer anywhere tonight, didn't sit behind the bench like most injured players do.. AK ended up starting along with Jarron Collins, I was in favor of Millsap getting the start, but what do i know i guess.. they needed Collins excellent basketball skills..

the duo of dick bavetta and violet palmer made for some bad officiating tonight.. it seems like we talk about the refs every night, so i guess no real need to go into detail about this one..

i got a free relocation to the lower bowl in the 3rd quarter.. way to go supervisor usher.. he came up to us with a surprise, and we ended up moving downstairs portal W on row 13. nice seats, makes me wish i had them every game, but i have to say the upper bowl does have it's few advantages.. people are less likely to stand up i guess, and the people we were behind tonight stood up for e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g... standing up sometimes is ok, but doing it after everything that happens on the floor is annoying.. sit down..

Nuggets @ Jazz
Friday, January 26nd, 2007
Jazz 116 - Nuggets 111
103th Straight Regular Season Jazz Home Game
109th Straight Jazz Home Game w/ Preseason

gonna keep the recap short today since it's the next day already.. it felt like the refs were going to take the game away from us in the first half, but the jazz kept up and the foul shots ended up equaling out.. way to go ronnie brewer for stepping up when we needed him and getting the job done..

we're past the halfway point in the season as far as homegames go.. halftime was the exact halfway mark.. we're 16-5 at home after the game..

the jazz dancers came upstairs to the portal in the 1st half.. i don't know what i was thinking, but after they left, i realized how stupid it was not to take pictures.. damn.. maybe next time i guess..

AK went out hurt but ronnie brewer stepped up and chipped in and gave us a boost.. way to go ronnie and paul millsap..

see you all on Monday night for the game against the Nets..

Grizzlies @ Jazz
Wednesday, January 24nd, 2007
Grizzlies 132 - Jazz 130 (OT)
102th Straight Regular Season Jazz Home Game
108th Straight Jazz Home Game w/ Preseason

what a bad game to have dead batteries and leave at halftime for.. my batteries had died, and it was just the grizzlies, so what was there to miss? i can't remember the last time we scored 130 at home.. we almost went to two overtimes, but Eddie Jones just had to hit that basket.. though i didn't see it, it sounded on the radio like it was plenty of time before the clock expired and wasn't even reviewed.. anyone?

so many highs and stats to miss.. DW's career high 21 assists, 1 t/o.. Boozer's career high 39 points.. AK's 18-12-4-and-3.. Gasols Triple Double.. Chucky's 29 and 15.. Memo's 27 and 11, 5-7 from the 3...

they announced Jamie as the Jazz Dancer heading to Vegas for the All Star game. i was kinda hoping for Deeann to win.. on her profile from the Jazz page, out of BYU vs Utah, she at least gave Utah a chance and said, "whichever is having a better season." the other two said flat out BYU, and that's just not right.. (UTAH)... but, for the most part, i am an equal lover of most of the Jazz Dancers, so i am fine with any of the 3 to go.. they are all amazing, at dancing, in my mind.. :)

the Bears Birthday was also tonight.. he was signing autographs on the concoure tonight, the line was huge.. i heard there was cake, but i didn't receive any cake..

the Ushers were all in different places i guess.. we got there about 18mins to tipoff and i had no idea who the guy was.. he explained about the mix-up, and i said, what a waste of time.. for the most part, he did a good job at keeping the portal clear.. (NOTE TO USHERS: ushers who nominate themselves for Usher of the Month are automatically disqualified from the award.. you know who you are)..

anyways.. so long jazzcrappers.. you should hear from me Friday night after AI and Carmelo visit with the Nuggets.. enjoy the Jazzcrap..

Timberwolves @ Jazz
Monday, January 22nd, 2007
Jazz 106 - Timberwolves 91
101th Straight Regular Season Jazz Home Game
107th Straight Jazz Home Game w/ Preseason

the Jazz started off slugishly but had things going by the 2nd quarter.. the pesky timberwolves kept the game somewhat close and made it interesting, but were really never a threat and the Jazz had control once they took the lead for the first time..

tonight's game was sponsored by Little Giant Ladders.. the little ladder guy from the infomercials was there and met for a picture with AK at midcourt before the game.. the Bear had a huge little giant ladder that he climbed up between the 3rd and 4th quarters.. he stood there on his hands, pretty high up.. funny bear...

man, i really hate Mark Madsen... he can carpool with Shawn Bradley for all i care.. he went to the line for a couple free throws, bounced the first off the rim and airballed the second.. it was funny.. he also flopped and got boozer called for a foul during a timberwolves free throw..

nothing too exciting happened tonight i guess.. enjoy the pics..

Mavericks @ Jazz
Tuesday, January 9th, 2007
Mavericks 108 - Jazz 105
99th Straight Regular Season Jazz Home Game
105th Straight Jazz Home Game w/ Preseason

even though we lost tonight, the Jazz kept it interesting the whole game and even had a chance to win.. stupid Jazz, we blew it but were killed by horrible officiating, and you can't win them all.. anyways..

officiating was horrible, all around.. dirky would go up for a shot and end up on the ground, refs would call a foul, even when there wasn't one there. he gets some bad calls his way. flopper.. i wish i was closer and could have heard what the whole stackhouse and sloan deal was all about.. stackhouse got a T for it.. we had a few flagrant fouls go our way, i think they were both on him so he got tossed in the 4th quarter, if i remember right..

lame shawn bradley was on the front row right next to the jazz bench (see my pic).. if you're looking for a team of horribly over-rated basketplayers, he can be your starting center.. that guy bites, and i don't dislike him just because he went to byu, i dislike him because he is trash.. that's another debate..

our normal usher was gone on some "business" for his "real" job.. lame, his replacement usher didn't do a good job either.. right towards the end of the game, see the pic i took with portal Xx crowded with people everywhere.. now that's funny..

maybe on saturday vs. the heat we will win.. but i guess it won't count cause i don't think shaq or d-wayde will play.. we'll see.. anyways, see you Saturday.. that game will be #100 in a row, without preseason games included..

enjoy the jazzcrap..
