Rocky Mountain Revue
Iran National Team @ Utah Jazz
Utah 82 - Iran 57
Monday, 7-21-08

the Jazz started slow vs Iran and they dominated early. the Jazz looked sluggish compared to them, but seemed to get things rolling and took advantage of Iran's big guy leaving injured.. i ended up leaving at halftime, so didn't see the domination continue on to the second half.. looking forward to seeing our USA Olympics team dominate!

i arrived as the D-League Ambassadors All Star Team was playing the Hawks on arrival. the game was a close one and the Hawks pulled out the Win. i was trying to see if any Dleague player stood out over the Hawks summer league team, but they were about all the same.. i guess that's why they are only D-League..

the Iran fans are very, very passionate and loud about their team.. from the time the the Hawks/D-League game ended to the time i ended up leaving (and final buzzer) they were going crazy with their kazoos and chants.. it was more like a soccer game, it was crazy..

it was nice seeing Morris Almond play.. i'm hoping he'll get some minutes/time with the team since CJ is probably out the door, at least so he can develop.. i don't know about Fess.. i wasn't paying enough attention to rate him or our draft pick.. i'll save my opinions on them until preseason..

that's about it.. looking forward to some olympic ball then back to Basketball Season!
